On the Recap: Malaysia Cup Special Edition

Negeri Sembilan came to this match with a mission after succumbed to a loss by Johor FC at home in the first leg of 2010 Malaysia Cup semi final. The only goal separated them was scored by Ezaidy Khadar in the dying minutes at Paroi Stadium. In the second leg, Shukor Adan first half strike at the JCorp Stadium was decisive in their course to change the deficit by scoring an away goal to make the matter even. The defensive approach of Johor FC proved to be their downfall as the home team was punished by conceding a penalty. The penalty was coolly slotted by Shahurain Abu Samah to book the ticket to the final for Wan Jamak men at the Bukit Jalil Stadium this Saturday.

In Kelantan, the Red Warriors again destined to meet their 2009 Malaysia cup final conquerer by defeating Kedah at home 1-0 after the first leg stalemate at the Darulaman Stadium. Norshahrul Idlan Talaha capitalised on the mistake by Kedah's goal keeper Helmi Eliza Elias to go one nil up ten minutes from time. B Sathianathan's troop completed their mission by keeping their second clean sheet in the semi final. Both Negeri Sembilan and Kelantan were deserved finalists as the performance suggested on the road to their second Malaysia Cup final in consecutive years. Is this the second cup for The Mighty Deers or The Red Warriors first??? To be honest, its anybody game...
