On the Euro: Injury Dilemmas

Liverpool's bench new entries
Quick note on current news and the outcome of last night's matches. Liverpool's injury list mounts as two players picked up an injury. Latest news confirmed Dirk Kuyt will be sidelined until 2011 at least. Agger's injury was less serious but no indication on the recovery time. This week Merseyside derby looks very unpredictable again. Draw anyone?

In the England camp; Terry, Bent & Lennon were ruled out last night and appeared doubtful for this weekend. Not a good sign for Chelsea's defensive lineup; away trip to Villa this week with Alex also crocked. On England's performance; The downside: Rooney & Barry, the upside: Gerrard & Johnson in their stalemate with the very determined Montenegro side.

On the other note, Bacary Sagna of Arsenal set for 3 weeks layoff. A bit of luxury in your lineup for non-starters. This is probably a good time to sell I believe.

Other news;

Robbie Keane missed a penalty to win the game...Arggh, not again. I understand Redknapp frustration with him.

Maroune Fellaini scored one for Belgium in their 4-4 thriller with Austria. Good vibe for Everton this week

Raul Meireles netted the second goal for Portugal. One of the cheapest unproven Liverpool's midfielder.

Gareth Bale was a constant threat on the left for Wales. He scored the only goal for them but still lost the game. 4-1 to Swiizerland.

Tomas Rosicky ran the show for Czech Republic and capped the good performance by providing the assist for both goals in their 2-0 win over Liechtenstein.

Rafael Van Der Vaart was lively and produced another assist in the Holland's 4-1 drubbing of Sweden as well as Seb Larsson for the only goal.
