On the Recap: Weekend Rumblings

You better watch out!
First of all I would like to thank all the loyal readers around the world for visiting another humble and ever-growing (borrow this phrase from Chris Glover) blog of mine. Keep the ball rolling on 2011 and do leave a comment if any.

No premiership matches; FA Cup weekend; January transfer window has started; A look on what happening during the weekend:-

FA Cup

- Gate Crashers; Geordies, Tangerines, The Baggies and The Black Cats all crashed out; Improved Liverpool soon followed (Konchesky was nowhere to be seen);

- Extra Assignment; Fab rescued Arsenal for a replay; Other teams with extra fixture, Man City (Joe Hart howler), Wolves & Stoke;

- Cruise Control; Villa, Brums (Derbyshire brace), Bolton (Typical goals by striking duo), The Hammers and The 'Flying' Spurs with a brace by Defoe;

- Weekend Thrashers; Chelsea (A brace each for Lampard & Sturridge), Everton (Five different scorers) & Fulham (Kamara hattrick);

- Thriller Survivors; Unrecognisable Wigan (Diame brace), Blackburn and special mentioned to Man United;

- List of reds; Tiote (Newcastle), Gerrard, Ashley Young, Elokobi (Wolves) & Jonas Olsson (WBA);

Transfer Window

- Dzeko enters the fray; Now what will happen to Super Mario and homesick Tevez then?;

- Brums got a Bentley (on loan);

- Steve Sidwell turns from a Villain to a Cottager;

- Don't know where Robbie Keane will end up to;

- Spurs got their muscle man (South Africa central defender);

- No end in sight for the ever familiar Beckham transfer saga;
