On the Recap: Trailing In Midweek

The one and only footballing DJ

Norm

- Nani back to his best after injury to provide the winning goal and an assist;

- Likewise for Chicharito in their 2-1 home win of Stoke while Whitehead scored the consolation;

- Good thrashing by Fulham against patch-up Baggies defense (2 goals scored by Dempsey & Hangeland);

- Decision for not transferring DJ Campbell may haunt me (1 goal), gone with Torres instead ...doh...;

- Each player sent off in Gunners versus City, uncharacteristic of City by parking the bus (0-0);

- Another two players got sent off (Villa vs Sunderland) as Sunderland defense kept impressing with Philip Bardsley (my sub, I chose Elmohamady) scored big with a goal and a clean sheet;

- Konchesky back and they lost; He should go if Roy goes;

- Rodrigo (who?) scored for Bolton while Ronnie Stam (Wigan defender) equalised in their stalemate;

- Another goal for VDV ( from a typical Crouch's assist) but Spurs lost after 12 games unbeaten run;

- Kevin Nolan and Peter Lovenkrands also on the Newcastle scoresheet;

Injured...Is he playing on borrowed time

Shock

- The Brums beat The Tangerines in their own backyard, Blackpool not that good at home anyway; Charlie Adam still hogged the bonus though;

- Hleb netted for his uninteresting team after claiming a desire to go to Arsenal as Wenger turned a deaf ear ;D while Dann struck the winner;

- Max bonus goes to Simon Davies of Fulham with 2 assists and a goal;

- Leon Best scored his first premiership hattrick (doubt people have him anyway) in his first start for Newcastle in their 5-0 demolition of the usual self Hammers, I think they are focusing on the FA Cup;

- Long time no see Benjani Mwaruwari scored a brace (Do you know he had an affair with his country FA official?); Martin Olsson netted the first goal for Rovers;

- Seamus Coleman upstaged Bale (injured on the 59th minute) in battle of the wingers and his second goal in three games proved the winner for rejuvenated Everton;

- Torres mind might be elsewhere, so do Liverpool's owner;

Really summed up their season

Shocker

- Lacklustre Chelsea succumbed to a humiliating defeat against rock bottom Wolves, I pity for Bosingwa owners, fatigue might take its toll;

- Liverpool allowed Rovers to a 3-nil up and tried to claw back (please, this was not Istanbul, mind you) :O;

- Gerrard goal was a norm but his penalty miss is a shocker!, well said of their season also;

- Tevez purposely playing too deep to get a draw, I thought they were fired up to get their Gunners revenge;

- King Louise (Saha) scored for Everton since I don't know when, better check Google ;D;

- United are two points ahead of City in the summit with two games in hand; Its their title to lose now;
