On the Recap: Weekend Mumblings

Can he rallies his troop for the remaining double???
Sorry for the lack of updates, a bit busy and fortunately no premiership fixtures this weekend; A lot of things happened during the midweek but I better start with where I left off when United got beaten by Fergie's old nemesis; Here goes;

United have now lost three games in their last five and that was pretty scary; But all the news pointing to one guy, Nani; First he was foul, cried and stretched off; Then he refused Carragher (the culprit) apology, not satisfied with his club for not supporting him and by the time he got home, he's being sued by his own brother; This guy is such a primadona and I'm not taking his words at all in staying with United for the foreseeable future; By the way, he will be sidelined for a minimum four weeks; Quick fire sale is expected next...

In the space of one month, Arsenal had lost 50 percent of their quadruple ambition and facing another backlash if they lost to United tonight; Maybe its a bless in disguise to be able to concentrate on only the premiership; VPersie managed to register his name in the record book to become the second person who costs the Champs League title for Arsenal (the first one you know who in the final!)...

Predictably, Wenger refused to blame his boys after trying to defend their one goal advantage without any success (zero shot on target for the whole match); A cheeky note was a lovely backheel from Fabregas to provide his new club the winner; Thanks Fab...

Congrats to Spurs for going through to the quarters and successfully holding up their slender lead from San Siro; I'm going to support them as they provide the only chance of a home final (final venue will be in London); They are one of the underdogs and have a fair chance if only they can avoid Barca in the draws; Fingers crossed to Arry...

Look who's back
Soon after United got beaten by Kuyt hattrick, Defoe opened  his goalscoring account (a shocker after 29 games) with two goals but still drew with the relegation hopefuls Wolves; The double gamers indeed proved uninteresting as a captain choice as Brums drew level with Everton with some not so obvious scorers;

My captain Lampard scored big with two goals and one assist while Torres barren spell continues; Blackpool are one point away from the drop zone and fortunately for them CAdam is available next;

Both Europa League hopefuls from England crumbled on the first leg against unfashionable outfits and need to overturn it next week at home; Interesting notes from Europe, Andy Carroll played a part and supposed to be rested Tevez had to play because Balotelli got some allergy with the stadium grass; I'm not sure to believe it or not;D

***FA Cup Latest***Bolton are going to Wembley after securing another away scalp at the St Andrews; Entertaining thriller (3-2) as Lee Chung Yong provided the winner on the 90th minute; And now Birmingham can focus on staying for the next season while Trotters are flying high this season;
