- Elmander scored one and Bolton registered the long awaited clean sheet at home (2 nil win of WBA).

- Disappointing performance by fantasy favourite Dempsey, doing nothing and got subbed for one point.

- Mark Hughes facing a sack afterall and credit to spirited Hammers (3-1 away win, Piquionne netted one).

- No Nani but forgotten Anderson and loyal Rooney provide the assists for United.

- Carroll scored again but still lost with a Barton assist.

- Houillier men again lost at home to rejuvenated Spurs (VDV comeback).

- Albrighton deservedly mentioned with a goal and they are in a free-fall down the table.

- Drogba, Nasri, Ashley Cole, Chamakh owners have to wait till tomorrow.
