On the Euro: International Victims

Captain Crocked
Plenty of internationals and only two Euro Qualifiers for us to digest in midweek. Here were the highlights involving our Fantasy Premier League stars:-

Typical England side lost to a very young France contingent. Malouda got one assist and excellent Nasri ran the show in their 2-1 win. Peter Crouch scored the consolation after coming on as a substitute.

Marouane Chamakh (Morocco) and Nikola Zigic (Serbia) netted the only goal for their team to draw against Northern Ireland and Bulgaria respectively.

Out of favour Roque Santa Cruz scored two goals in Paraguay 7-0 drubbing of Hong Kong while Niko Kranjcar scored another brace as Croatia swept past Malta 3-0. Nikola Kalinic of Blackburn got another one.

The fantasy star of the week was Morten Gamst Pedersen as he curled another sublime free kick past Man City second keeper Shay Given and provided the assist for the second goal for Norway in their 2-1 win against Ireland.

Who fall prey to the friendlies?
Top 4...(1) Captain Gerrard (hamstring), (2) Charlie Adam (knee), (3) Chris Brunt (groin), (4) Dirk Kuyt (knee)
