On the Forecast: Gameweek 7

Dare to do a Drog this week?

Saturday 2nd October

WIG VS WOL
Wigan keep improving and as a host should provide a stern contest. A tight win for Wigan for me but Wolves defenders should not be underestimated. Can easily be a draw. The highlights should be Yayga versus Doyle/Fletcher. Do you still remember Boselli?

BIR VS EVE
Birmingham never lost at home since I dont know when but playing Everton this week is quite tough to handle. Foster to concede but the home record is still intact. One to watch: Seamus Coleman.

STK VS BLA
After three defeats in a row, Stoke is on form and this year Blackburn seem solid on the road. Easily a drab draw. Kenwyn Jones should head this one for sure??? Rory Delap assist of course.

SUN VS MANU
Sunderland is very strong at home; unbeaten in 2010 but so does MU. Lead by Trick Master Nani should provide continuous attacks to the host backline. Expect a plenty of chances and there will be goals in here. MU will nick this one and the usual suspects are Berbatov and Darren the Bent.

TOT VS AST
What can we say about VDV; a goal and a send off but still the best player in Europe. VDV will provide the ammunitions with the expense of Bale. Expect Europe hangover for Redknapp army and a new Villa era under Houllier will terrorize White Hart Lane to the bare bone. Highscoring draw.

WBA VS BOL
With the impressive Arsenal win, The Baggies should be high for this one. Odemwingie will again provide something in this match but Petrov will counter back. No clean sheet but West Brom will top this one.

WHAM VS FUL
The Hammers got their first win at home last week and the new strike partners Obinna and Piquionne seem to flourish. Cole will have to contend on the bench until someone or something crocked. Bargain price for Liverpool then??? Fulham is stable on the road. Even without their 2 best strikers, Dempsey will more than enough for them. Fulham will push them to the edge and get something from the Upton Park. Draw.

El Nino to break the duck

Sunday 3rd October

MANC VS NEW
Tevez is in the form of his life after beating Chelsea last week. As the top captain choice this week, he will lead The Citizen with Adebayor as the number two. Same old last season attacking duo with new midfield lineup and the strong defensive unit of Newcastle will have a hatful of attacks to be handled with. A clean sheet is expected but Newcastle is no pushover. Home win.

LIV VS BLP
A great match-up for Liverpool but most of us I believe have only one of their famous attacking trio. Gerrard just coming to form with 2 goals away at Old Trafford (not a good fantasy choice before the game), Kuyt just coming from injury layoff and got lucky last week and the most usual suspect El Nino; waiting to get going in this EPL season. I will be nervous for not having him this week. In current form, Liverpool will win this one but maybe not more than two goal difference.

CHE VS ARS
The mammoth Super Sunday for our meal this week and expect the unexpected. Not so sure, Chelsea is colossus at home and who dare to predict Chelsea lose with the on form players including Malouda, Anelka and fully rested Didier the Drog. Record shows Chelsea won all their last three meetings but Arsenal is one of the top four candidates and should have a chance for this one. Nasri should lead the Gunners and try to stiffle the midfield lead by Essien. Chelski will win this one with Drogba involvement. Are you bold enough to pick Captain Drogba?
