On the Recap: Midweek Happenings

Swiftly running away from the title
It really looks very interesting down the basement...We have four teams on the same points...A single win separates them from Wigan (the last one)...Two of the poorest relegation candidate team right now based on current form are surprisingly Villa and unsurprisingly Rovers...But both still have a fair chance towards safety to be honest...Some fantasy intakes during the weekend (Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 30):-

Here we go again with the most celebrated team...Can Arsenal stay on course on the title pursuit?...Are they purposely give the title away?...Do they have some sort of mentality weakness as claimed by some quarters?...Their run ins are a lot better than United...Their mission is plain simple, beat Spurs (away) and hope for a Chelsea win (away to Manchester)...Realistically achievable and I hope Lehmann will stick to the gameplan...

Credit to Baggies for continuing their unbeaten run...If they can give Arsenal the run of their money, why not on Liverpool & Chelsea at home in their next three...I'm hoping for some more miracle Mr. Roy!...

Chelsea are looking more like a former champion after showing who's the money boss against Tevez-less City...Now Dzeko can share the same status as the blue El-Nino;D...50 million quid for a goal drought, better spend for another David Luiz clone instead:D...Their fixtures are looking good in the next four including GW33 double...

Relegated...Are you serious???

Honestly speaking, they can gain grounds if United and Gunners stumble again...Ancelotti was hinting about his future after claiming he want to return to Milan...Is he afraid of the United loss (Champs League)?...And for City, FA Cup is essential for them and maybe another term in the Europa League I presumed...

Van Der Vaart showed less of respect and professionalism when he was unsatisfied of being substituted and claiming his action will boil over by the media within the international period...What the h*** with this guy?...This is another serious case of overpaid footballing diva (jealous of his wife?) who was short of attention and celebrity status...These type of people should appreciate their employer who pays their gargantuan salary for the sake of playing time...

Managers are being paid to manage his players and not the other way round...And if the manager decision backfires, its still the manager who takes the responsibility...We should leave this to wise-man Harry to handle  this all-so-obvious type of character...

Liverpool were glorious in taking advantage of Sunderland injury crisis...Maybe too much rest was the cause of it but the future looks rosy for them...Blackpool for how many times I can't remember couldn't manage to defend their lead...It might cost their survival though...Hammers have the best chance and form to survive followed by Wolves who have more than average matchups ahead...

Rovers showed their long-lost character but I believe they are still the relegation outside candidate...Good start for Wigan but their next obstacles are Spurs & Chelsea before things get easier for them...Baggies have the scariest fixtures and lot of draws might not be able to save them...

Sometimes, people never learn

Brums have to negotiate through Chelsea & Liverpool (both aways) in their next five compensated by the confirmed double...Can the new champion get relegated in the same season?...Their neighbor Villa are well-placed to survive, no issue unless Houllier creates some sort of trouble...

Stoke & The Magpies need a win and few draws to mathematically survive another season eventhough the latter got a walloping lesson at The Brittania...It can be considered as one of those Newcastle days as I didn't see that coming...The quality of both Everton and Fulham are massive and honestly I think they will have no problem with the remaining matches...

Lastly, United kept their winning mentality to show us how to register an ugly win while at the same time their three strikers take turns saving the team...The hardest thing for them are facing both the title challengers back to back on GW35 (Arsenal) & 36 (Chelsea)...Can the worst United team capture the glory, maybe not too easy...

Fantasy notes...The proposed blank for Newcastle vs United (GW33) is no more while Spurs vs City (another potential Champs League place decider) is scheduled further down on GW36...Total of GW33 absentees are reduce to six teams...Check your local listings:D...

Some injury updates before the internationals:
- Serious: Saha, Djourou, Holden, Micah Richards
- Not so: Bale, Coleman, Bardsley
- Should be fit for premiership: Tevez, Yaya, Suarez
