On the Forecast: Gameweek 31

You have to see this...The Great 2011 Relegation Battle (source)
The two weeks of boredom is finally over for us managers of the Fantasy Premier League...Its time to get back to the battlefront...For Gameweek 31 preview I put some interesting additional feature which categorizes the matchups by their league position to further emphasize the threat of relegation and the championship challengers...Here goes:-

Group 1 - Home banker
17th vs 1st (WHAM vs MANU)
19th vs 7th (BIR vs BOL)
20th vs 5th (WIG vs TOT)

These home trio badly need a win, very badly; Spurs minds might be focusing on the Madrid next week so Wigan will fancy something there considering the rotation risk for fresh legs; The Brums conqueror are fully focus on survival especially at  home and a win is essential before they begin to travel for three straight weeks; Winless in three, European trip beckoning and facing a relegation threatened side at their own turf, I would give a chance for Wigan to take the maximum points against The Lilywhites; Fingers crossed;

Comparatively Birmingham home form are much better than Bolton away; Motivational-wise, Birmingham are more determined to get out from the bottom three while Trotters has a slim chance towards Europe; Bolton to draw them at home to make the home side a little desperate towards the proposed double;D;

Two good news for United recently is Chicharito scored a brace for Mexico and Vidic is getting healthier; Both could feature this week after the unconvincing win against Bolton; Sir Alex still serving his suspension but West Ham have not lost in their last four and with the likes of Parker, Hitszlperger, Ba, Cole etc performing these days, they could spring a surprise to be honest; Out of the norm, I am expecting the Hammers to hold United to make Wenger a happy kid;

Both knows rather too well of their 'own' team

Group 2 - Fair chance
16th vs 6th (WBA vs LIV)
12th vs 15th (FUL vs BLP)
11th vs 18th (NEW vs WOL)

All three matches most probably end as a draw but you never knows when your team is facing one of the relegation hopefuls; Holding Arsenal was such a feat for West Brom when they should win it after leading them comfortably; Kuyt needs Suarez to be fit in order to provide the necessary ammunitions for the impressive Liverpool; Hodgson's men to condemn his old fledglings to a frustrating draw;

Fulham have a very outstanding home record with four solid wins in their last five while The Tangerines have a contrasting away form with four losses in the same amount of games; Obviously, which side is the best bet?; My rather obvious pick is a narrow win for Duff & Co against CAdam's Tangerines with no clean sheet recorded of course;

The Magpies are on bad patches at the moment and if they keep losing when everybody is winning, realistically they can be dragged even closer to the bottom three; I still think that they will not be relegated this season but facing a rejuvenated Wolves, troubles are far from over; Much of Wolves revival was due to the performance of the occasional loanee, Jamie O'Hara; Newcastle problem lies on their inability to find Carroll replacement to spearhead the attack; Wolves will fancy their chances but I go for another draw at the St James Park;

Group 3 - Sense of unpredictability
8th vs 14th (EVE vs AST)

Eventhough, they are experiencing a crippling effect in all positions, Everton are still a formidable opponent at home; Villa are precariously sitting on the relegation fence and most of their bad lucks were caused by the authoritarian Houllier; Villa can conquer anybody if they have the correct mentality, but Goodison is not the best place to start with; I would like to see Houllier on the receiving end of the supporters backlash with Everton loss;

Can both of them fill in for Tevez? Not the right Jo obviously

Group 4 - Winning form
10th vs 4th (STK vs CHE)
3rd vs 9th (MANC vs SUN)
2nd vs 13th (ARS vs BLA)

I expect all the three heavyweights to win; Chelsea are in a devastating form at the moment with three wins on the trot; Arsenal never say die attitude was still intact albeit a disappointing blow and City loss last two weeks ago can be considered a blip in their quest for perfection

Of all three, Stoke may provide some resistance as a home team with the additional aerial threat they possessed; You never know with Sunderland who despite playing well they have registered the most losses in their last six and still winless; Rovers defense maybe too much for the free-flowing Arsenal but you can expect PRobinson to save most of the goal attempts;

Without European assignment, DLuiz is the best buy towards their double; Anelka said that rotation risk is inevitable of the striking department; No concrete news about the state of Tevez's injury yet; City defense is depleted so we can expect Kolarov to play full; Fab is back and he might steal Nasri points while VPersie is facing late fitness test;

There you go, the best advisable way to negotiate this is by doing transfers in tandem with the proposed double; All the 'blank teams' on GW33 seem to get their own double on GW34 except one; Transfer with caution and good luck everybody;
