On the Forecast: Gameweek 30

Their clash should be interesting
Time seems to fly so fast and suddenly we have only eight remaining Premier League games to play (excluding the double)...In the past weeks, we've been juggling with some exciting, plainly typical and dumbfounding headlines such as Nani & VPersie miraculous recoveries (not forgetting the JDjourou saga), Arsenal remaining double slashed to one after the puzzling lost against seven defenders, Lehmann sensational deal (again why the news is only about Arsenal?), Torres still missing his lucky boots and again yesterday both Pool and City crashed out from Europe with the additional spice of Balotelli sent off...Unlike Rooney, sometimes while form is temporary, temperament is permanent!...Back to the content guys:-

Black Saturday...BLA vs BLP...I would like to nominate this as the match of the weekend as both Blacks square off each other to determine their premier ship fate; CAdam is back to lead the Tangerines play while Rovers winless in five is a serious cause for concern; Both lock on points and a win could provide an ideal gap towards survival; A very serious thriller with a slight edge to the home team;

Wounded Animal...WBA vs ARS...In term of premiership, its been a long time since Arsenal's last defeat but having lost three cups in a fortnight, Wenger might need Lehmann's presence to rally his men; Uncharacteristically solid Baggies which are unbeaten in four games may have another ideas to stifle Gunners attacking quartet at their own backyard; I would not be surprised if Arsenal draw this game but I expect a win nonetheless;

Slugfest Derby...AST vs WOL...Another relegation battle royale between two neighbors; Wolves are on form at the moment while Villa are very strong at home; Looking at the table, McCarthy's men need a win more than anything to crawl out from the relegation zone; The home side should be aware on the inevitable bombardment from the hungry away side; Nice thrilling stalemate;

Revived Hope...TOT vs WHAM...Hammers are on the run while Spurs look very nervous recently while waiting for their Champs League quarter final opponent (They got Madrid mind you!); VDV may need some time to rediscover his old form and do avoid both defenses if you can; Hitzslperger is a solid pick and may sprung a surprise if you ask me; I don't think Spurs will lose at home and I'll go with the all too obvious draw;

Lucky Devils...MANU vs BOL...Makeshift home defense versus OCoyle's comprehensive attacking setup; This fixture is a must-win for United to keep their place at the top still intact while Bolton are fully aware of their European chances; Sir Alex will rely on his attack to compensate the lack of cover in the back by winning it at all cost and for sure there will be no 0-0 in this type of game;

The only surviving central duo

Mid-table Crisis...EVE vs FUL...Both of them haven't reach the so called 40 points for a guaranteed safety but they look set to be safe next year; The only realistic target for them is Europe albeit a very slim one; Moyes's men are getting injured one by one while Fulham injury casualties are getting fit from game to game; Less motivation as both will be happy for a draw;

Lucrative Clash...CHE vs MANC...Two of the most expensively assembled side slug it out for supremacy but not for the league champion of course; Chelsea are beginning to find their rhythm in ball possession but their finishes are still poor especially Torres, maybe his colour is not blue;D; Balotelli will surely not play a part in this game due to his midweek action and City will rely on their most dependable duo, Silva & Tevez; But in the end victory seems too far away at the fortress Bridge; Home win;

Ordinary Champion...WIG vs BIR...With only survival on their minds, the Carling Cup champion have a mounting task on their hand starting with an away trip against their relegation rival; Wigan have too much quality to be relegated while Brums can only rely to their home advantage even though Baggies punished them last time out; I believe Wigan will survive the fixtures and win this handsomely;

Rediscovering Form...STK vs NEW...Its quite a rare case when you are winless in four but suddenly victorious in a cup fixture against a form team; Etherington comeback proves such a difference for the Potters while Newcastle yo-yo performances are making a comeback nowadays; Its hard not to think that this one will end as a draw; Yawn:O;

European Quest...SUN vs LIV...The Reds are still reeling from their European exodus while The Black Cats are fully rested but we know what happened when team are having too much rest (Sunderland lost to Spurs at home last time out); Both are realistically in contention for Europe but Liverpool have the greatest advantage to qualify; Luis Suarez is expected to terrorize the home defense and Asamoah Gyan to form a formidable attack with ample support from the fit again Wellbeck; Sunderland to punish the Reds tired legs;
