On the Recap: Saturday Snapshots

Be afraid, be very afraid Mancini...

Some of the things happened on Saturday GW21;

a) As predicted, Tevez let us down with a lot of misses and a missed penalty, 2 points x 2 for those who captained him. A very cohesive unit (Blackpool) with C. Adam received full bonus (1-0 win City, Adam Johnson);

b) Liverpool left it late, very late with Joe Cole tap in, Hodgson fate still in the balanced while his favourite player (Konchesky) dropped. Gerrard-Torres combo struck again (2-1 win, Torres, Davies);

c) No Rafael, no Nani and Berbs subs off but they still registered an ugly win against The Baggies. Chicharito winner and Odemwingie was the second penalty miss victim (1-2 win, Rooney);

d) Sunderland registered their tenth clean sheet of the season by disposing Rovers 3-0. Three pronged attack got a goal each, max bonus goes to Jordan Henderson;

e) Tim Cahill farewell match ended with an away defeat by Stoke (2-0). Typical performance by Etherington and Kenwyn Jones and special mentioned of Delap;

f) The arrival of Michael Dawson helped Spurs recorded consecutive clean sheets in two. Another well-drilled header by Bale with VDV assist to put Fulham to the sword (1-0);

g) West Ham produced the highest premiership rise up the table from bottom to 15th, 1st time of the season. Wolves looked doom on the New Year with goals by Zubar (own goal) and Freddie Sears strike;

h) The Gunners were back in contention after stylishly conquering Birmingham with a 3-0 scoreline. The big guns performed admirably and got one goal each (Fab with full bonus, Nasri & VPersie). They are really in the mood for the City visit in midweek.

Latest update:-
Lampard and Ashley Young scored penalty each by half time and after the restart Villa lead with a Heskey header. My Drogba captain seemed anonymous since the start.
